OK, guys and gals, the series officers have really been scratching our heads on this one. The loss of the Bootleggers race really put the series, riders and racers in a bind!
There were several riders that needed the race to qualify for YEA. There are also at least six classes that the class champion will probably come down to the wire and last race. Including AA and A Open, several B classes and a couple of C classes as well.
We considered dropping the YEA races needed to 7 but that would not help the riders competing for "class championships". We also considered a double points race, but that did not seem fair either. The only real solution is to step up and 'GIT ER DONE'! 
Danny Ellis has graciously stepped up and said we can have the race at his place(Boston Mountain - Pettigrew, AR). He has hosted races for the past two years and is hosting two races next year as well. He has 7.5 miles of trail already cut! Danny, YOU ROCK!
This race is being promoted by the Series Officers with Danny Ellis.
December 13 is really not a great day to have a race and is really not very convenient for anyone, however that is beyond our control, we have to work with what we have. Please come out and support this race, since it is being promoted by the "officers" all fees minus expenses will be going into the series funds and applied toward 2009 year end awards.

I just looked at the flyer and on the dirctions, you have the last two driving directions saying to turn left on 4805, and turning right when it is left. As long as everyone turns onto 4805 it will be fine, it only goes the one direction. |

I'll be going up on Dec. 5th and staying til the 13th. If you have a day to give, please come any of those days. I'm think Farrell and Greg and some others are coming up on the 5th, too. Thanks ahead to all who help out.
I am FIRED UP about this race. Be sure to attend. Dany, the Officers and myself are commited to a quality event you won't want to miss. This one event, with all proceeds going to the series including gate and entry, has the potential to contribute more than any one race on the schedule. All you gotta do is come race!
I'll be laying in some new single track, in addition to the 7.5 miles Danny already has, and Danny has already been trimming more.
"Grass roots woods racing at it's finest!" is coming to Boston Mountain!!

Man, I am all excited seeing this come together. Wish I could come and lend a hand but we are already going to be out of town that weekend since it was a bikes only. Personally I think this will be one heck of a good time for all that come out. Like I said you will not be let down. |

Yes, Thanks again Danny for the land! Shane Tacker has taken the lead for the officers on getting this done! He is planning on spending several days on Boston Mountain working with Danny to make sure all the trails(peewee, kids, short and long) are the best they can be!
This is turning into a real team effort and is coming together rather nicely! I really hope everyone comes out to support our series and this race! We also have a few surprises in the works for those that show up!

DANNY ELLIS you rock man!! I am not even a bike guy but from a series member thank you for stepping up!!!
You bike guys will LOVE Danny's place there is everything out there and I promise you will not be let down. And if you have some thought, politely throw them out there and Danny will not let you down for the next race!!

Farrell, the directions are going to be slightly different this time and next year. I will go tomorrow and see what the new county road number is going to be. It is even easier to get to than the old one. |

cool... pretty much guaranteed.
there will not be an ATV series points race. This is a makeup race for a bike race that was on the schedule and canceled. |

It will be a AHSCS series points race for the bikes. There has been some discussion around doing something fun on the Saturday before the race, but that is still up in the air. |
