Race 4 of the 2014 season returns to one of the darlings in the series. The Perna Hare Scramble. This race is a favorite among veteran series members.  In a way, it’s a lot like a family reunion with a central location.  Racers and families can arrive on Saturday.  Camping is available but there are no electrical hook ups.

Race fans and spectators will enjoy the race start and the open sections, which are within short walking distance of the parking.  Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the action!   The course is like a strawberry short cake with two distinct flavors; a mix of hillside track and flowing track through stands of pine timber on mostly level ground. There will be a ditch crossing or two included. If you have never raced a hare scramble and always wanted to give it a try this is a great course.  It provides plenty of challenges to the rider.  But be forewarned, racing fun courses like this one can turn into a family addiction!

Mom’s and Dad’s will love the kids course which is on open ground allowing you to watch the young racers have fun on their dirt bikes.
